Patient Care Facility Accreditation Guide

November 2025

Accreditation Fees

Current accreditation fees may be found by visiting the Patient Care Accreditation section of the ABC website. All accreditation fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.

The ABC Board of Directors sets accreditation fees. ABC reserves the right to adjust accreditation fees and establish the effective date of change. ABC also reserves the right to adjust accreditation fees based on new or validated information obtained during the survey process, which may affect the type of survey, the type of accreditation awarded and/or the number of survey days required. Final accreditation determination is contingent upon receipt of all fees.

Accreditation Fees

The accreditation fee must be provided to submit an application and to maintain the accreditation for each facility.   Full payment must be submitted with the application.  ABC does not assess any separate fees for surveyor travel expenses.

A facility is added to the survey queue only when the application is complete, and fees are received in full.  Application fees cover application processing and the onsite survey; surveyor travel expenses are not separately charged.

Annual Fees

Accredited facilities that completed the renewal survey before 1/1/2026 AND have a 2028 date must submit a 2027 annual fee. Notifications are emailed in September and mailed in October of each year. Your annual fees are due on December 1st. Failure to submit annual fees may result in removal from ABC’s weekly Medicare report, removal from ABC’s Directory, inability to verify the accreditation with third-party payers, inability to use ABC accreditation or logo, suspension or revocation of accreditation.

Certificate Reprint Fees

To obtain an additional accreditation certificate, log in to the facility’s MYABC account to submit a request and pay the associated fee. Your facility must be in good standing to process your request.
